Alcatraz tomorrow!

San Francisco 2 con't

Got cut off there! Going to Alcatraz tomorrow!

Mexican Food

San Francisco 2

I am now more at leisure and have some time! Yesterday wasn't a good time to be doing this stuff - need time!
29th April
After two days of blazing sunshine I am now quite sunburnt on face and arms.
I am amazed and impressed by the public transport infrstructure trams, streetcars, metro, trolley buses etc all under differnt names and frequent and on time and clean. There are virtually no traffic jams as there are few cars to block everything up.

Loads of ethic variety and I am a firm convert to Mexican food. Ruth did a good introduction to this way of eating on our first night.
The Sisters have invited us to a meal tonight - We are staying at the Anglican Franciscan house - where I could have ended up if I had remained in CSF (this is going back to my 20's!)
We have booked up t
The Bag Handler is going onto Denver on Monday.
Little Cat will travel on to Australia

First time internet cafe

San Francisco

Having a great time and fantastic weather. Can't access on my mobile phone so there's no way of texting. I'm in a E-cafe so this is a bit hasty!

Later addition to this posting - I had never been to an internet cafe before to use a public computer and had no real idea how inexpensive it was. I could have written more.

I had been to Grace Cathedral = TWO Labyrinths. Those who know me well, will understand my interest.

I had checked with Vodafone about access in the US but could not guarantee anything - wasn't for the lack of trying. As it was there was no emergency needing a mobile phone whilst in the US.

Packed

Ready to go!

Cat sitters organised.

The real Little Grey Cat knows I am off and has slept in my suitcase by way of helping to pack.

Bags packed! Only two fairly modest bags but I still feel I have packed too much!

Will I get any sleep before the alarm goes off at 4.30??

Last minute Stuff

Grey Cat's World Trip

I'm all packed up and ready to go - I should have played around with this Blog before I went as I haven't any idea how to get pictures up etc. Yes I know there are instructions - I just have been so taken up with other things..........

My Sony Walkman Bean is full of music and Michael Palin's Himalaya trip to listen to on the flight if I can't sleep etc.

Really excited now.
